The Integrative Mental Health Program Process
-
Our root cause assessment starts with a comprehensive online questionnaire filled out prior to the first appointment. Through conventional and specialty laboratories we look into your genetics, epigenetics; the gut-immune-brain connection; the role of the exposome: the interplay between genes, environmental toxins, and mental health.
We test your hormonal status including the proper function of the HPA axis, thyroid, and the rest of the hormones. Then investigate your energy regulation and all the causative factors of the elevated inflammation markers.
-
The treatment plan is personalized and includes recommended lifestyle modifications: proper nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management and targeted supplements. A medications are prescribed for acute crises.
-
After treatment is initiated, your biomarkers will be followed closely and treatment adjusted as needed. The endpoint of treatment is when all fire is out and existing risk is optimally treated.
This method is data driven. It will “right size” treatment, which avoids under or over-treatment with medication and we can objectively follow whether lifestyle changes being implemented are working.
