Biography

Dami Junaid is a consultant, storyteller, and podcaster with a background in healthcare, business, and technology. She initially set out to become a surgeon, majoring in Biology with a Pre-Medicine concentration. However, after winning first place in an entrepreneurship competition during her undergraduate studies, she founded The ARISE Africa Foundation. The nonprofit addressed the sexual health epidemic in Nigeria, earning her a feature on CNN and speaking engagements at institutions like Brown and Northeastern University. In addition, this experience exposed her to the broader impact of healthcare beyond clinical practice, revealing her strengths in strategy, leadership, and problem-solving. It ultimately inspired her to pivot from medicine to the business and technology side of healthcare, leading her to pursue an MBA.

As a Third Culture Kid (TCK) who has lived in 5 countries, Dami is passionate about exploring identity, culture, and belonging. She founded Taloje ("who are you?" in Yoruba), a brand dedicated to amplifying the multifaceted identities of individuals, and extends this mission through her podcast, More Than One Story. Through intimate conversations with immigrants and global citizens, she delves into the complexities of identity, personal evolution, and the stories that shape us.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dami is an avid traveler, content creator, and advocate for healthy living. She shares her global experiences through storytelling, using digital platforms to connect with a like-minded community. Whether curating travel content, exploring diverse cuisines, or embracing wellness through mindful living, she is dedicated to inspiring others to lead enriched and well-balanced lives. 

By leveraging her diverse experiences, Dami continues to empower people to embrace the full spectrum of their identities and passions—thus reinforcing her belief that no one is defined by just one story.

As a Regional Liaison and Private Health Advisor at Lindenhaus, Dami works closely with members and corporate partners across the United States and Europe, helping to create environments where individuals can thrive both professionally and personally.
